In what was hailed as a “momentous” move by Cambodia, the late American pipeline businessman George Lindemann’s family “voluntarily” agreed to return 33 looted artefacts to the Southeast Asian country. According to the US Attorney's Office, the artefacts that would be returned include statues of deities, angels and demons from the 10th and 12th centuries from Koh Ker.
