Former US President Donald Trump has been charged with racketeering and election crimes after a two-year investigation into his efforts to overturn his 2020 defeat to Joe Biden in Georgia. The grand jury voted to bring a total of 13 felony charges against the 77-year-old Republican, including violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations law, as well as violating his oath of office.
