The move makes sense for the Microsoft-owned company because it generates most of its annual ad revenue with ads sold on its news feed. LinkedIn's revenue jumped 34% to $3.5 billion last year, helped by advertising demand and subscriptions for recruiters, job seekers and sales professionals, news agency Reuters reported.
