Microsoft announced that it will be discontinuing the Cortana app on Windows later this year. This news comes after the introduction of its new AI assistant, Windows Copilot, which can perform tasks such as content summarization and editing text. Cortana will still be available on several other Microsoft platforms, including Outlook mobile and Teams display.
